Limina is looking for a talented Drupal Developer to work with its established team of cross-functional UX and Technical professionals. The Drupal developer will be responsible for back end development and site building based on technical design files provided by the Technical Team Lead and Solutions Architect.  We are looking for a full time or part-time Drupal developer with excellent development skills, great organizational and interpersonal skills with both experienced who is driven to create awesome complex websites and applications. The candidate must have experience in development for Drupal 8.    

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in teams to help build and develop the front end of websites
  • Participate in daily and weekly status meetings
  • Reporting time and work details on a daily basis
  • Record detailed descriptions of work performed and documentation of progress
  • Communicate regularly project leadership and management
  • Develop and build with best practice and code excellence in mind

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong understanding of best practices of PHP development
  • Experience in Drupal 8 development is a HUGE plus
  • HTML, CSS expertise
  • Ability to develop in PHP/MySQL
  • Ability to develop importers, migrations, and a strong understanding of data structures
  • Bonus for Knowledge and experience with API development
  • Bonus Proven Custom module development
  • Understands Integration concepts (restful services, API development, etc.)
  • Knowledge of PHP and MySQL development techniques: using GIT for code checkouts, version control, and deployment techniques. Solid familiarity with version control GIT or other such technologies 
  • Understanding in HTML and CSS
  • Must have high attention to detail
  • Must be highly skilled with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch
  • Must write clean code that follows best practices
  • Ability to seek out answers, do their own research and consult with teammates when necessary
  • Knowledge of WCAG compliance a plus

  • Is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working across multiple projects simultaneously without errors
  • Understands the big picture and detailed design implications (business/technical) of the design direction
  • Must be a friendly team player who enjoys challenges and learning new skills and techniques
  • Is able to synthesize innovative yet practical solutions by combining our clients’ requirements with user-centered design best practices 
  • Has a willingness to show knowledge through client presentations as well as industry meetups/events, internal knowledge transfer meetings, and webinars.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with teams and clients 
  • Strong electronic note-taking and documentation
  • Consulting with clients and internal teams to establish strategic, measurable objectives for projects 
  • Setting and meeting internal and client-facing expectations on time with high-quality deliverables 
  • Facilitating client workshops and discussions
  • Educating staff and clients on matters related to front-end development
  • Comfortable working with remote team members
  • Comfortable working with both waterfall and agile software development processes 
  • Expected to travel occasionally for business purposes
