Limina is looking for a talented Senior Technical Professional.  The ideal candidate will have complete understanding of how to build and support solutions on SharePoint Online.  Their experience must include administration, configuration, design, and troubleshooting of complex solutions that include extensive utilization of:

  • Out of the Box (OOTB), Customized Theming
  • OOTB, Open Source, and Custom Web Parts
  • SharePoint API utilization and integration

JOB OVEVIEW

Limina’s clients’ have regularly implement knowledge management portal solutions on SharePoint Online to typically to support globally distributed groups of users and their enterprise/internal customers.  These solutions include many functional capabilities including:

  • Directories and organization charts
  • Communications through announcements and events
  • Quick access to tools, documents, favorites, etc.
  • A centralized library with integrated search
  • Customized team sites for groups of users
  • And much more

The sites are architected using out of the box SharePoint capabilities delivered through Communications Sites that have client and site-specific theming and extensively utilizes the following technologies:

 

  • SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
  • UI Fabric
  • JQuery
  • PowerApps
  • Flow
  • PnP and PowerShell

The ideal candidate will be able to rapidly take on the maintenance and enhancement of the solution.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates for this position must have demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Development of an enterprise intranet from requirements to implementation and support
  • Establishment of governance rules and best practices to enable effective delegation of enterprise content management
  • Extensive configuration of SharePoint Content Types, Lists, and Libraries
  • Complete understanding of how to leverage SharePoint security to meet enterprise and site specific requirements
  • Management of Term Sets using the Term Store
  • Publication and maintenance of Content Types
  • Development of custom pages using Modern Experience on SharePoint Online
  • Theming of SharePoint Online Modern Experience using JQuery, Fabric UI or other UI frameworks
  • Configuration of Search Result Sources, Scopes, and Managed Properties

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have strong leadership skills including flexibility, resourcefulness, and self motivation
  • Must have intimate knowledge of SharePoint components, architecture, API, custom development, configuration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience architecting, administering and developing SharePoint.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using SharePoint to develop custom workflows & solutions as well as experience with SharePoint customization including content types, custom pages and web parts, and branding
  • Minimum 5 years of hands on experience with developing solutions with traditional development tools such as: HTML, CSS, React, Angular JS, JQuery/Java Script, XML, C#
  • Minimum 3 years of in-depth experience building collaboration portals utilizing enterprise search and enterprise content management best practices to implement complex intranet solutions
  • Strong communication skills including both written and oral communication
  • Minimum 2 years capturing requirements and working with business users to architect solutions to meet them using SharePoint
  • Extensive experience using and supporting:
    • SharePoint
    • MS PowerShell
    • MS Office
    • MS SQL Server
    • MS Visual Studio
  • Extensive experience with hosting platforms including Office 365 and Azure
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and planning skills with the ability to set priorities
  • Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
